Vanderbilt is happy to announce one of the newest additions to our firm, Registered Representative, James D. CPA, MBA, PFS, President & Founder of The DeMinno CPA Firm, PC Wealth Management. James is joining us from New York.

 

Jim has over four decades of experience in tax and accounting services, and more than 25 years of experience in wealth management and financial services. Jim formed his practice, after working for many years in the tax department of Price Waterhouse Coopers, because he wanted to provide a comprehensive resource for clients’ financial, accounting, and tax needs.

With a passion for the challenge in his role, Jim enjoys serving as a trusted guide for his clients, helping them coordinate their financial needs and understand their opportunities. While he provides a vast array of services, Jim specializes in IRS representation, tax planning, and wealth management. Jim is deeply committed to protecting his clients from the serious consequences of unresolved tax matters.


Jim’s diverse educational background adds depth to his strong tax, accounting, and wealth management knowledge. A Registered Representative now with VFG, Jim holds securities registrations, as well as Life and Health insurance licenses. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Tax Resolution Specialist (CTRS), Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) and a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). He received his Bachelor of Science in accounting from Manhattan University, his Master of Business Administration in taxation from Iona University, and his Post Master’s Certificate in Finance from Iona University.
