All eyes have been on the United Nations this week as they hold their 72nd Regular Session of the UN General Assembly at their New York headquarters. In the past 2 years, the UN has put a big focus on what has been dubbed on social media as #globalgoals. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) consist of “17 Goals to Transform Our World.” Each goal is then broken down into specific targets that are clearly defined.
